What is a parse error?
A parse error means the phone cannot read the APK. The package did not open, so installation does not start.
- The file did not download fully, or it broke when the name was changed.
- It may be a ZIP or another file, not an APK. The ending should be
.apk. - If Android is older than the package requires, some phones show that as a parse error too.
If the inside was edited by hand, the package can break. Build the file again.
